Head Coach Opportunity – Parley Cricket Club

Parley Cricket Club is excited to announce a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Head Coach to lead the development of our coaching programme for the 2026 season.

As an ambitious, family‑friendly club with four senior teams and eleven junior teams, we continue to grow year on year. We’re now looking for a coach who can help shape the future of cricket at Parley by inspiring players of all ages and abilities.

About the Role

The Head Coach will play a central part in developing players, supporting volunteers, and strengthening the pathway from junior to senior cricket. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about coaching, committed to high standards, and excited by the chance to make a real impact at a progressive club.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum ECB Core Coach qualification (or ECB/UKCC Level 2 equivalent)
• Minimum six hours per week coaching across indoor and outdoor seasons
• Strong commitment to player development and inclusive coaching
• Ideally able to play and support Saturday senior cricket (not essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a structured junior coaching programme
• Plan and deliver high‑quality sessions across all age groups
• Build and maintain a clear player pathway into senior cricket
• Support and mentor volunteer coaches
• Work closely with the club committee to help drive cricket development at Parley CC
• Offer 1‑to‑1 coaching to members, providing additional earning potential

Salary

A competitive remuneration package will be offered, based on experience and qualifications.
