Our Adult 1st XI have been Dorset Premier League Winners or Runners-up for 6 of the last 7 years
We field 8 adult teams and 14 Youth/Girls teams from age 8 upwards. One of our strengths is that we can offer cricket to a wide range of abilities and provide opportunities for young players to develop into excellent adult players.
We are a club that likes to win and our record is testament to that – though it is not just about winning –
Cricket should be FUN and we are equally committed to that.

2 overs 1/6.
Sunday C are set 162/2 by Funnybone but44* from Jake Markham and 28* from Mike Rake sees them win in 11 overs.
Midweek A needing to beat Ferndown to win the league dismiss them for 112, but give Ferndown catching practice and are all out caught for 88.
Midweek C have no such problems and reduce Ellingham to 15all out ! Unbeaten they take the Div 2 title.Well done regulars Paul Nash, Mike Rake, James Miller and Jack Nicholls.
Midweek B come runners up to Midweek C on Div 2 with a 2nd win over Winton in 8 days, setting big 169 with Max Trueman 47*, plus Sam Ayres, Will Carter and Jake Markham all retiring 25+. Will also picking up 3/30 as Winton get a respectable 146/3.
U9s are set 309/2 by Hamworthy but can only muster 281 in reply.
U12s win the play-off Finals with a close win v Poole in the semi and then a comfortable win in the final v Hamworthy. Spencer Savage 28*, Oliver Alkiviades 27* and Axel Deem 29* pile on the runs in the semi, setting 173/1 but Poole chase well and it goes right down to the last ball for the 5 run victory. In the final Hamworthy are all out for 97 which Spencer 28* and Oliver 25* quickly knock off.
The U11s Final is an all-Parley affair with the Pirates playing the Panthers. The Pirates reach the final with a semi win v Christchurch, Jake Taylor 33 in 159/4 and he takes 2 wickets as well as Christchurch slump to 69ao. Panthers win a controversial semi v Hamworthy after some umpiring confusion, but need 4 off the last ball - which they get. Chasing 177, Kieran Laird 34*, Thomas Norman 26* and Oliver Brunt 26* score quickly to set up the all Parley final.
In the final Pirates are down a man due injury and Panthers set them a daunting 179/5, Kieran 35, Thomas 37 and Jake Insall 27* but Pirates respond magnificently with Marcus Bragginton 38*, Oscar Spiller 28* and Jo Huns 31* powering to victory with one ball to spare.
The U14s Final is also a Parley v Parley affair after the Panthers ease past Ellingham in the semi, Jacob Browning 40* and Harry Claremont 34* in 171/4. Ellingham are restricted to 115/5. Christchurch take the Panthers to the last ball in the other semi after Panthers set 144/3, Thomas Saunders 32* & Luke Neill 25*. 2 Wickets for Thomas heps peg Christchurch back and they are all out - 5 short.
In the Final Panthers can only set 94 against some good Pirates bowling, Connor Chubb 3 overs for 19, and Pirates seize their chance, Thomas 27* to storm to the win.
Three great wins and great strength in depth for 5 Parley teams making the finals, a great testimony to the coaches and the talented players we have.

U13s at the National Finals
Drawn against eventual winners, Guildford, in their first match, Parley's batsmen we just unable to put together any partnerships to chase down 104 ofter some great catching meant we were the only team to get Guildford all out. Guildford won by 10 runs. Indifferent batting cost Parley again in the afternoon when they lost by just 1 run against a team we really should have beaten. The batting started to improve on Thursday afternoon with Charlie Berridge getting a 30 ret not out, but it was not until the Friday that Parley finally hit form to hit 85 in a 10 over match to record a win. Special guest on the Friday was Alistair Cook so all the boys (and parents) came away with big smiles and memories. Great effort from all involved to finish 5th out of 1700, and special thanks to Patrick Neary & Alan Graham as Manager and Coach, and to Westover Motors for their support and sponsorship.

Umpires, Scorers and Team Managers
As a club we are always looking for help in staging matches and running teams, which means we need volunteers in many diverse roles. We can help with training, qualifications and DBS checks and some roles attract a small payment. These range from Youth Umpire Courses, Scorers Courses, Full Umpires Courses and in-house help with Team management. We also need anyone with administrative or business skills and experience of fund-raising and sponsorship to expand the pool of experience available to the Management Committee. Please Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested and able to help.
