Match Reports

21st May - To post 270 was really fantastic. Ultimately we lost the game but the improvement from the first game was monumental. The game was in the balance right up until the last 2-3 overs. These children are all so young and still new to the game of cricket. They were competitive, played with a fine team spirit, and were respectful of their opponents. Harry Todd is developing into a great little captain and took a great wicket. Joe bowled one over of 5 dot balls. Lucas took on the prestigious position of opening bowler and delivered with aplomb. Ellis hit some great shots in his pair with Lucas. Harry Franks bowled another great over and also had loads of dot balls. Zach hit a four. Issy batted superbly with her brother and put 25 on the total at the start. Sam Lewis proved what natural ability he has with both bat and ball.
14th May -
7th May - This morning's U8 match saw the whole team playing their first ever game of cricket. Well beaten by a good Wimborne team, but lots of fun and plenty to work on for the future.
